RYAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, ROHINI WINS
NASA SPACE SETTLEMENT DESIGN CONTEST

It is a matter of great pride that Ryan International School , Rohini has been a proud winner of Space Settlement Design Contest-2009 organized by NASA Ames Research Centre for the fourth consecutive year.
This year Ryan Rohini launched 2 projects namely ‘UDAAN’ by 25 junior students and ‘ABHIVYAKTI’ by 9 of its senior students. Ms.Sadhna Walia and Ms.Kamna Narula were the teachers guide for the projects. Students stood FIRST in both the categories for ARTISTIC MERIT while junior group stood SECOND globally in LITERARY MERIT which was adjudged among 294 submissions from 808 students sponsored by 93 teachers all across the globe like Bulgaria, Canada, China, Dubai, UAE, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Romania, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Uruguay. U.S. entries were from 8 states: California , Georgia , Illinois , Missouri , Nevada , New Hampshire , New York and Utah .
We are thankful to our Founder Chairman Dr.Augustine Francis Pinto and Madam Grace Pinto for this achievement. It has been their consistence guidance and encouragement that our students have achieved this, being the only school in Delhi .
RYANITES TO VISIT NASA – SPACE CENTRE (HOUSTON- USA)

A group of twenty students from the Ryan Schools will be visiting NASA’s Space Centre Houston to participate in the space school programme beginning 26th April 2009. The students will go through a challenging weeklong, exploration of their own design talents. Leading scientist’s engineers and doctors from NASA will interact with them.
The students have expressed their deep gratitude towards the Chairman Ryan Group of Institutions Dr. Augustine F. Pinto and Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto for giving them this unique platform within the school curriculum which aroused their interest and enabled them to be part of such a great mission.
The students will also visit Kennedy Space Centre at Florida to witness the launch and landing facilities for space shuttles. The excitement, enthusiasm and motivation and thrill on the part of the students are amazing as they tighten their seat belts for this 12 day trip. We wish them bon voyage and adventurous time ahead.
The long wait for such a school in Chembur is finally over

The 9th International Children's Festival of Performing Arts

The 9th International Children's Festival of Performing Arts was inaugurated on 27th November 2008 in the National Bal Bhavan, Delhi. The festival was declared open by Mr. Mani Shankar Aiyar (Central Government Minister) and Dr. Karan Singh in presence of renowned personalities from the Film, Corporate Industry (worldwide) and foreign consulates.

of RIS, Masma, Surat was on 18th Oct' 2008 at
11am. The programme was graced by honourable Chairman
of Ryan International Group of Institution, Dr.
Augustine F Pinto. The programme began with prasie
& worship followed by an assembly by the students.
Chairman Sir addressed the guests
& Students. He announced that Masma is the
111th school in the country and 6th one in Gujarat.
This made each Ryanite proud to hear and everyone
cheered with lot of enthusiam and joy.

UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI)
aims to substantially improve educational links
between India and UK ensuring in the longer term
we become each other's partner of choice in education.
UKIERI was announced by the Prime Minister Tony
Blair during his visit to India in September 2005,
and launched by him in April 2006.
