Mr. Shashi Tharoor addresses 700 young diplomats at Indian Model United Nations 2009

With one full year past the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, the terror being still alive and fresh in our memories, it’s the most opportune moment to pay due homage to the martyrs, who laid down their lives to protect and safeguard us. Indian Model United Nations 2009 is all about young determined brains pooling and polishing their intellect to set right some of the most imminent global problems. INMUN 09 provided them with an ideal platform to win over all their hang-ups and hang on to the gallant cause of resolving modern-day social, economic and political issues of global dimensions. They have come together and proposed viable solutions to the various problems facing the modern globe.
