Iceplex, stands for "Interactive
Community Education Portal Leading The Entire
X-Gen." We, at Iceplex believe in using
social and value based broadcasting as a strong
tool to shape young minds. As someone once said
"Vision without action is a dream; action
without vision is simply passing the time. Action
with Vision is making a positive difference".
A positive difference is exactly what we aim at
achieving through Iceplex.
The Iceplex team is in the process of coming out
with their television channel. Its target audience
is the X-gen, i.e., the next generation. India
is a young country, with more than 54 % of Indians
25 years old and less. This channel will be an
'Edutainment' channel aimed at providing
practical value based entertainment to its viewers.
You will be glad to know that
complementary to the television channel, we have
already started Iceplex on the web, i.e., www.iceplex.in.
Apart from the various programmes, we also have
a lot of exciting contests lined up for everyone.
The first mega event on Iceplex is "Iceplex
Ad- Film Awards 2008" (IAFA 2008). Iceplex
Ad- Film Awards 2008 is worlds first online Ad
-Film making contest for students in the
age group 11 years to 19 years.
In today's world, the competition in any
field is increasing on a very fast pace. It is
very important to have practical knowledge about
anything along with theoretical knowledge. It
is very easy to express the views and thoughts
in a long 3 hour film. But it is equally difficult
to express one's concept in minutes duration.
Ad film making contest will help the children
to know about the audio visual skills. Nowadays,
many children want to pursue media as their career.
IAFA 2008 is a platform given to the pre- teens
and the teens to enhance their career in the field
of media.
Iceplex has been designed to suit the requirement
of our young audience and the school children
as our future lies in what we sow for them today...
