Alexandria, V A – Presidential Classroom (PC), the United States leading civic education organization, recognizes Malvika Saran, Dhruv Sekhri, Shreyoshi Chatterjee, Vijay Vedula, Prerna Singh, Sonal Singh, Sonal Chopra, Drishti Manocha of Ryan International Group of Institutions as Scholars in attendance at Presidential Classroom. They earned this distinction by being a Scholar and leader in the community. Attendance at the Presidential Classroom program enhances the mission of Presidential Classroom by encouraging young leaders to be active and engaged citizens.
The Presidential Classroom (Future World Leaders Summit) was held on 19th to 25th July at Washington DC.
“We provide students with the rare opportunity to view our federal government at work, discuss key issues with Washington policymakers, and to discover the importance of responsible citizenship” says acting Executive Director, Marie Daire. “Our Scholars are a select group of students who have gone a step further and will put the lessons learned here at presidential classroom into action”.

In 1968, Presidential Classroom, a non-profit, 501(c) (3) civic education organization, began to prepare young leaders for responsible citizenship and provide understanding high school students the chance to explore the political process firsthand. Aimed at high school sophomores, juniors and seniors with a minimum 3.5 grade point average, Presidential classroom offers nine unique and challenging leadership development experiences, focusing on key issues such as global health and environment, science and technology, law and justice, national security and media and international relations.
Presidential classroom is approved by the National Association of Secondary Principals Student Activity Listing, and endorsed by the National Education Association, Congressional Youth Award and Who’s Who Among American High School Students.
They were asked as the Indian delegation to put up a country presentation which consisted of a dance to the song “Jai Ho” which was greeted with a standing ovation. Mst. Vijay Vedula was elected as the head of one of the working groups and also was selected as the delegation representative to speak at the Banquet.
