The Ryan Scientific Milieu’ 10 a science Exhibition was organized by Ryan International School, Greater Noida.  The day was graced by the presence of a galaxy of dignitaries – Dr. Prof. S. N. Ali ( Professor & Dean (SW) - Greater Noida Institute of Technology), Prof. Unnikrishanan, (HOD, CSE - Galgotia Institute) , Dr. R. K. Raghuvanshi (Director, Apstele Institute of Technology), Dr. A. K. Singh (Professor, J.S.S. Academy of Technical Education),  Mr. Vikram Bali (Associate Professor- CSE -Galgotia College of Engg & Technology), Ms. Leena Singh (Department of  Chemistry -Galgotia Institute of Science & Technology – Greater Noida).

The events for the day included the EXHIBITION OF SCIENCE MODELS, , (JAM) Just a  Minutes, SYMPOSIUM and QUIZ.  The participants were divided into three categories – Sub Junior, Junior and Senior.

The day began by seeking the blessings of the Almighty Lord followed by the praise and worship songs and a special program on "SAY NO TO CHILD LABOUR"

More than 15 schools from Greater Noida, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and Vasant Kunj participated in this competition.  All most 230 students were present for different categories.  Children displayed wonderful models based on their innovation and creativity which included Energy conservation, Pollution – A global issue, Electro Chemistry, Any scientific device to reduce the production cost, Mathematical models to show etc.  Further students also made multimedia presentations on Reducing carbon footprints, Nano technology – affecting lines, Products of biotechnology – a boom or bane, Green chemistryFullerenes – its application and Semiconductors etc.  All the display  and projects were highly appreciated by the judges.

Further the Scientific Quiz and JAM (Just a Minute) gave an interesting platform to the students which allowed them to show their scientific temperament in a large scale.

The day was exciting indeed and  out of all participating schools the following emerged winners :

The overall championship trophies were bagged in the following order :

1. RYAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL- GREATER NOIDA
2. RYAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL- NOIDA
3. RYAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL- FARIDABAD

These attributes stand youngsters in good stead as they move from the academic arena to the real world.   Principal Mrs. Sudha Singh, Ryan International School, Greater Noida feels that the Ryan Scientific Milieu 2010 was challenging, enjoyable and inspiring.  The events for the day represented a complete departure from the cold clinical diagrams with an opportunity to enjoy a totally new experience.  The competition emphasized on getting all children to develop as scientists, sharpening their conceptual thinking along the way. The program was a great success.

It was an effort by the host school Ryan Gr Noida  to implement Chairman Sir Dr.A.F Pinto sir’s vision in nurturing and tapping the potential of children young so that one day they become good citizen and future leaders of the nation.
